About Abinta Gallery of Fine Arts
Abinta Gallery of Fine Arts, a flagship initiative of the Abinta Kabir Foundation, was established in 2012 as the Athena Gallery of Fine Arts by Ms. Nilu Murshed, the gallery’s chairperson. In 2017, the gallery was renamed in honor of Abinta Kabir, the granddaughter of Ms. Murshed, to serve as a tribute to Abinta’s legacy as a visionary change maker and humanitarian who was deeply committed to making a positive impact through personal and social philanthropy.
The gallery operates as the cultural and fine arts division of the Abinta Kabir Foundation, offering a wide range of public programs including exhibitions, seminars, workshops, and other arts-related activities. Its mission is to promote the rich and diverse art and cultural heritage of Bangladesh.
Ms. Murshed aims to provide the gallery as a space for creating a bridge between developing and veteran artists, thus building a platform for both emerging and established artists to showcase their work.
Mission

Vision
To establish Abinta Gallery of Fine Arts as a leading institution in Bangladesh’s art scene, driving global recognition and cultural exchange while inspiring artistic innovation and cultural dialogue.
